I feel your pain. I was lucky enough to leave when i did but watching what goes on in zambia will always break my heart. each day i realise if i ever did return i’d never be allowed to be who i am freely. half of me wants to make change happen and the other other half is waaaaay too scared to return. thanks for being brave about who you are and just know that all the way from out here…i’m rooting for you ❤️
I completely relate to the point about b wanting to make change happen while being afraid. I am afraid. I want to leave most times but I am stuck here. Until then I will do what I can.

I wish it were different too. The worst part is we still have a long way to go here.
